Melih graduated from Ankara University in 2022 and moved to West Yorkshire, where he began his career as an equine vet in a mixed practice. He spent the most recent breeding season as an intern vet at Twemlows Stud Farm before joining our clinic in January 2025. As someone who believes in lifelong learning, Melih is passionate about all aspects of equine medicine and is still exploring which area he would like to specialize in.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Melih weightlifting, and he occasionally enjoys trying his hand at wood whittling.
