Elza graduated from the University of Ghent in 2020 and completed her internship at their clinic. In 2022, she joined Pinkham Equine Veterinary Services in the UK, gaining hands-on experience in neonatal foal care and mare reproduction. She also worked as an assistant stud vet at various stud farms in the UK from 2022 to 2024.
From 2023 to 2024, she worked as a resident stud vet at Arrowfield Stud in Australia, learning specialized care for mares, neonates, yearlings, and racehorses in a high-volume breeding operation. Over the past two years, she has worked the stud season in both hemispheres gaining extensive practical experience in stud medicine.
Elza has always wanted to live in Cornwall, combining her passion for the outdoors and surfing and is excited to join West Ridge Equine as part of the Cornwall team.
